I am not inclined to vote for either Obama or Clinton on the basis of their race or gender. However, I had this thought as I read the article. How many Presidents have had the ability to make a change in the social order beyond their term in office? Most of the issues of today, whether addressed or not by the next President, will be forgotten in less than a decade. It could be that neither candidate would make a stellar President, but they might open the door for someone else that would.
